VB, Mulberry and more design exclusive Pudsey Bears New!

If you think giving teddy bears makeovers should be reserved for childhood sleepovers only, think again. Especially if the makeovers in question come courtesy of fashion powerhouses like Louis Vuitton, Versace and Victoria Beckham. And, of course, if it's for a great cause like the BBC's Children In Need.

Over 30 household fashion brands have lent their creative skills to designing exclusive Pudsey bears for the The Designer Pudsey Collection, transforming the famous yellow teds into couture masterpieces.

Each 28inch teddy will be auctioned on the 15 November at famed auction house Christies, with a 100 per cent of the profits going to the charity.

Editor In Chief of LOVE magazine Katie Grand, who organised the collection, said: "I was honoured to curate this fantastic collection, and have had such fun working with the designers on all of their amazing designs, BBC Children in Need is an incredibly worthwhile cause, and one which myself and all of the designers involved are privileged to support."

Stand-out bears include Victoria Beckham's custom-made beige leather lady-bear, which comes complete with rouge pout and lace eyes. In fact, Beckham's bear, sporting a very SS13 V-neck dress, looks ready for a high-fashion play-date with Harper Seven.

Other toys of note include a bear designed by Giles Deacon, a teddy by Burberry, one by Mulberry (which comes with its own miniature satchel) and one by Vogue magazine, all distinctively unique and in line each brand's signature style.

Pudsey has never looked better!
