Finally come down from the adrenaline high of Versace for H&M? Good. Because today, H&M announced its next designer collaborator: Marni.
The Italian house is known for its quirky prints and 'intellectual' take on trends, so expect a riot of pattern and colour via jacquard knits, African-inspired designs and cute cropped trousers to touch down when the collection hits selected stores on March 8. In true H&M collaboration style, womenswear, menswear and accessories (including shoes, scarves, bags and jewellery) will feature - all at a high street price point.
"I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favorite pieces in signature fabrics and prints," says Marni's creative director Consuelo Castiglioni of the collection (pictured left). "As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colours, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic adding sporty utilitarian elements."
Someone reset the countdown clock, quick...!
Marni for H&M will be available from March 8 2012 in around 260 stores worldwide and online. hm.com
