In Madonna‘s latest move, she took a massive stab at Lady Gaga by doing a mocking mash up of Gaga’s Born This Way with her Express Yourself. What did Gaga do about it?
Something surprisingly mature for a rival pop icon. She replied with a speech at her Australia performance that said “It sometimes makes people feel better about themselves to put other people down or make fun of them or maybe make a mockery of their work, and that doesn’t make me feel good at all. That just makes me feel like I’m not being a good human being.” How grown up of Mother Monster, a figurehead for anti-bullying in America.
This isn’t the first controversial moment on the MDNA worldwide tour. Madonna performed this past week in Istanbul and in a provocative dance to Human Nature, purposefully flashed her 53 year old nipple, which
sounded exactly like a stunt Madge would pull seemed a little gratuitous.
Then, during her Tel Aviv show, she performed song Nobody Knows Me in front of a giant screen briefly showing an image of French National Front leader Marine Le Pen with a swastika on her forehead, followed by images of Sarah Palin and Chines president Hu Jintao.
Do you think these moves are bold and badass or cries for attention?
