Tomorrow, for the first time ever, every one of the windows of Selfridges' iconic Oxford Street store are being taken over by one brand: Louis Vuitton.
As part of the luxury label's ongoing partnership with Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, all 24 windows will pay homage to the collaboration - and, not content with making history, the takeover doesn't stop there. Vuitton and Kusama will be "popping up" in Selfridge's Concept Store for an eight-week stint of polka dots, giant pumpkins and, of course, the collection of leather handbags, ready-to-wear, travel bags, shoes and accessories by Louis Vuitton bearing Kusama's unmistakable organic, repetitive patterns.
Not got the cash to buy something? Never fear: we guarantee that this will be a spectacle worth seeing alone.
