MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA will become the next designer label to launch a collaboration with H&M, it was announced today.
The Paris-based label, whose inclusive philosophy champions "the work of the group rather than of one designer", is matched by H&M's commitment to "fashion for all" on the sweet mock CV the high street giant released to celebrate the partnership.
"We are very happy to present MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA pieces with H&M, offering a new interpretation of our vision. The democracy of our fashion has always been at the centre of our creativity, and the collaboration with H&M allows us to push this instinct further. We will bring together the contrasting universes of the two houses in ways that will surprise all," promises Margiela.
The collection, of both men and womenswear, will launch on 15 November 2012 in around 230 stores nationwide. Expect a "conceptual and timeless style" that encapsulates Margiela's vaules and ideas of "anonymity", "shades of white" and "ambiguity".
We do love a fashion challenge. Bring it on!
